I started this Google Sheets business because I craved a new challenge that would push me into unfamiliar territory. I wanted to create something truly my own, using my expertise to make a real impact. Offering Google Sheets solutions is a skill I’m deeply proficient in, and it felt fitting to use it to uplift businesses that value authenticity and professionalism.
The name "Sidekick" reflects my vision of empowering clients while keeping them in control. They are the heroes of their own companies, and I’m here as their sidekick, supporting them to achieve their goals. This idea has been a quiet passion for many years, and now I’ve finally given myself the chance to bring it to life. I love the fast pace and freedom of this work, knowing that every project is an opportunity to make a difference.
I believe every company deserves access to a spreadsheet solution that is secure, powerful, and tailored to streamline workflows, save time, reduce errors, and enable data-driven decisions, all without the high price tag and hidden costs of other spreadsheet solutions. REASON FOR LEAVING
My personal values and needs were not being met, and I had outgrown my role. I needed a change to rejuvenate my energy and pursue new opportunities.
There was no structure for this internship with the outcome was based on initiative and a hunger to learn. I took the future of learning into my hands and worked on many projects/tasks at the same time.
Overall, this internship allowed me to navigate throughout the marketing department and gather golden nuggets of information. I was exposed to Communication and PR, Product and Pricing, Experience, the Customer Relationship Centre and Customer Relationship Management. Additionally, following the rules and regulations of the brand that was stipulated from the Global Head Office -in the UK- taught me the structure of comms that are sent from decks to social media posts.

This position is for Honour students at the University of Pretoria, so this position lapsed once I had finishing studying.
TuksRes Women in Leadership Academy is a community of womxn residences who come together to harness our potential and discover the leader that makes us all unique. There are 3 areas that are focused on: service, networking and skills. The lessons and skills they were taught get shared with local underprivileged schools where the students share with the grade 11 and 12 students become leaders in their own stride. Networking takes place at events with guest speakers, workshops, seminars and societies of gender equality. Lastly, there are 5 content sessions with the focus on business, leadership and life skills.
